MAIN TASK & RESPONSIBILITY Perform maintenance and repairs on Stackers, Reclaimers, Conveyor Belts, Hydraulic Systems at Load out Station and stock yard. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Essential unless otherwise indicated): Grade 12 / N3 Trade Test Millwright EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS (Essential unless otherwise indicated): 3 Years Stackers / Reclaimed / Conveyor Belts / Hydraulic Systems at Load out Station and Stock Yard. Code B Driver’s License Must be able to work shifts KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (Essential unless otherwise indicated): Participate in change initiatives and provide feedback on resistance. Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data. File documents per procedure. Propose ideas or practical improvements relevant to tasks. Participate in improvement initiatives and lead group discussions to solve problems. Comply with disciplinary and behavioural rules and procedures. Comply with safety, health and environmental standards. Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in work area. Conduct safety meetings. Enforce team adherence to standards. Comply with Quality standards and deliver in a manner that support and meet operational quality standards. Manage team performance. Resolve conflict. Participate in planning process for section. Execute plans within standard. Implement team operational plans to ensure defined objectives are met through supporting and being supported by, other teams within and linked to department. Participate in preparing maintenance and inspection schedules as per legal requirements. Participate in planning maintenance days, resources and spares. Ensure and do scheduled maintenance and scheduled inspections. Maintain Stackers / Reclaimer / Conveyor Belts / Hydraulic Systems at Load Out Station and Stock Yard Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment. Coordinate correct disposal of domestic waste. Maintain Stackers / Reclaimers / Conveyor Belts / Hydraulic Systems at Load Out Station and Stock Yard. Execute shutdowns. Report breakdowns. Apply breakdown call out procedure. Prepare and ensure creation of ad hoc job cards. Coordinate and do repair of electrical breakdowns. Do over inspection on electrical equipment. The candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996. Remuneration: Remuneration will be based on a competitive all-inclusive flexible package. The successful candidate that conforms to all said requirements and experience will be appointed on this grading. A candidate that does not conform to all set requirements and experience will be considered only if a suitable candidate that does comply cannot be selected and only if the requirements of the position support a developmental appointment according to policy.
