Executive Chef A well-established company within the 5* Hospitality Industry in Clanwilliam is looking to employ a qualified and experienced Executive Chef. Responsibilities (but not limited to):Head the Kitchen DepartmentIn charge of a team of 12 Chefs plus 4 Scullery Assistants and one Kitchen CleanerSeasonal menusAll costing, month end stock takes, financials and ordering of stockManagement of the different Kitchen outlets at the companyExtra Ordinary Dining options in and around the companyWorking closely with the Food and Beverage Team to ensure clear open communication between the departmentsTraining and facilitating growth of each individual in the KitchenDaily and monthly team meetings as well as quarterly one on one meetings with all staffRostering, timekeeping and Internal Relations of all staff in the KitchenInvolvement in Marketing and showcasing the food on offer at the company for site inspections and media visitsSpecial menus for special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Christmas Day etc. Requirements:At least 10 years’ managerial experience in a Kitchen and must have been an Executive Chef for at least 5 years5 Star fine dining experience is essential Relevant Tertiary QualificationValid driver’s licence If you meet the above requirements please apply along with a photo of yourself in professional attire, written references and your CV.
