Job Description


A vacancy exists for which applications are invited from employees who meet the following requirements:

The Incumbent will be responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of the branch, including operations, customer service, security and safety in accordance with business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric Maths and/or Accounting);
  • Relevant Bcom / B-tech degree;
  • Further qualification in operations, logistics or general management will be advantageous.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years management experience;
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Driver’s license with own vehicle.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for management of site;
  • Branch safety management and protocol;
  • Managing the site contracting company and staff reports;
  • Maintaining the site and ensuring all plant and equipment is operating efficiently;
  • Manage stock, reconciliation and distribution of recyclable materials;
  • Manage shunting fleet (mill and other customers) and drivers;
  • Manage branch team and KPI’s;
  • Customer engagement and problem solving;
  • Maximise purchases, sales and financial performance of branch;
  • Managing branch orders, invoices and petty cash;
  • Compile, implement and manage branch procedures;
  • Growing the business through supplier interaction;
  • Customer and supplier engagement regarding Quality standards;
  • Off-site supplier engagement and equipment maintenance;
  • Positive reinforcement of the brand and Culture.
