Freight Sales Executive – Centurion
Transport Logistics Company with vast expertise in Air and Sea Freight as well as Road Freight, Distribution and Door to Door Service is looking to employ an established Freight Solution Sales Executive with over 3 years’ experience with in the industry.
This fast growing company requires a person to sell consultation services which are necessary to develop and manage key accounts and existing clients in Cape town CBD. The lengthy sales cycle and high-value projects require the person to demonstrate persistence and commitment.
The ideal candidate must be able to assume responsibility for sales and pipeline development. They will be required to own and drive proposals and presentations (with support). They will be required to broaden the client base into multiple sectors and be innovative in their approach to winning clients over. The Sales Executive will develop strategies to solicit new business, expand business territories, and fulfil business quotas. He / She will review inbound and outbound manifests (i.e., shipping reports) to identify new customers, business growth from existing customers, and shipment reductions. This position develops weekly sales recaps to provide senior management with summaries on new business, returning business, and at risk business. The Sales Executive will report to EXCO
Minimum Requirement Minimum 3 years Freight Sales experience Matric/Grade 12 Marketing Qualification will be beneficial but not crucial Own Reliable vehicle
