Job Description

Vacancy exist for an Assistant to Finance Manager

Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent certificate essential
Certificate or Diploma in bookkeeping
Minimum 2 years’ experience in creditor’s and debtor’s reconciliations and accounts

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Maintain the fixed asset register, ensure all the documentation for purchases are in order and on file
  • Maintain a list of fixed assets for insurance purposes
  • Stock Control / Manage Petty Cash
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Intercompany recharges
  • Pull OTRS and Harvest reports monthly
  • Ensure that the signed off recharges for all the Business units are received by Finance by the 5th working day of each month.
  • Monthly Intercompany invoicing
  • Assist with the arrangement of flight bookings where required
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Drafting required financial correspondence & any additional ad hoc tasks as requested by management
