Job Description

Account Manager 

 

Location: Umhlanga, KZN

Salary: Negotiable

 

Requirements:

Grade 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent

Diploma or Degree in Marketing (advantageous)

Minimum of 3-4 years sales/account management experience in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of FMCG industry Brand Management, Retail/Merchandising, and Digital Media

MS Office

Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle

Target driven, good negotiation skills, performs under pressure

Customer Focussed, Assertiveness, Drive & Passion Initiative

 

Duties:

Present, negotiate and sell strategically to achieve sales targets

Serve as a strategic advisor to clients

Proactively keep abreast of clients' marketing plans and provide solutions

Ensure that client needs and requirements are understood, interpreted and communicated accurately and that their expectations are met and exceeded at all times

Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with clients by building relationships through regular contact (meetings, email and phone follow ups)

Always ensure high standard of customer service

Manage campaign administration of proposals and contracts

Bring about campaign implementation, management and feedback to clients

Source, develop and manage new clients
