Job Description

Our manufacturing Client in Germiston is in need of an honest and reliable dispatch clerk to join their dynamic company.

Minimum Requirements

Head and shoulders photograph together with updated CV IN WORD FORMAT

Grade 12 Certificate/Valid South African Identity document

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with CONTACTABLE LANDLINE REFERENCES

Computer literate – SAP, Excel Spread sheets

Excellent knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety regulations)

Be familiar with material handling and processing procedures

Police Clearance Certificate

Key Responsibilities

Execute a physical check on the receiving and dispatching of stock to customers and from suppliers against the purchase order/delivery note/works order

Return damaged goods to suppliers on a GRV/GRN and report this to these to the accounts department

Issue stock to factory as and when required – accuracy is extremely important

Safely loading, unloading and storage of all stock

Be responsible for implementing EHS compliancy policies, procedures and systems

Prepare stock for bi-annual stock takes
