Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Track, feedback and record “pipeline” opportunities in central CRM system
• Research and maintain database of existing and prospective Accounts and Contacts in CRM system
• Run regular Opportunity, Activity and Campaign reports from CRM system
• Event management of the Company’s hosted events, conferences and industry event
• Manage invitations, RSVPs and attendee lists for events
• Event logistics implemented with Marketing team
• Drive marketing, collateral, branded gift, etc needs for event

Purpose of job
• Support the implementation of Practice Development activities for the Company’s advisory businesses. PD activities include:
o Implementation of seminars, speaking, research, articles/PR
o Production of Request for Proposals and presentations for existing and prospective clients
o CourRequest for Quotes/Proposals production for targeted, prospective clients
o Superpleasing – Event management of relationship building activities with existing clients
o Listening – Logistic, marketing and admin support of meetings with executives and influencers at existing clients where Production of request for proposals (RFPs), tenders and pitch presentations
o Start RFP and tender projects and drive completion of documents
o Assist in maintaining the Qorus Knowledge Centre - online content library with up-to-date and relevant company and services
o Implement and manage RFP print production to deadlines as needed
o Assist in proofreading and editing documents, presentations and other written communications
o Available to work irregular hours (outside of 9 to 5) as occasionally required to meet deadlines
o Client Relationship Management (CRM) support

Qualifications and Experience
• B.Com or relevant degree or higher
• Added advantage:
o Investment knowledge: good technical understanding of financial markets, asset classes, investment vehicles, consulting process
o Knowledge of retirement fund, medical aid and various investment related regulatory and legislative environment

Key Competencies
• Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Word formatting, ung Style guides, etc
• Basic use of Excel
• Comfortable using web-based software and systems, and quick to learn new technology/systems.
• Excellent project management, administration skills and attention to detail
• Excellent grasp of the English language (reading and writing), with a basic understanding of financial services jargon
• RFP production and tender experience

• Willingness to occasionally work outside normal working hours (i.e. early mornings, late nights) to meet deadlines
