Reporting to the Inventory Controller you will be responsible for ensuring all inventory systems within the Distribution Centre are adhered to, current and accurately reflect real time data and coordinate flows of inventory through the Distribution Centre (DC).
Your main duties and responsibilities include:
In conjunction with the Inventory Controller, maintain and continually develop the cycle counting system for all warehouse inventories,
Maintain and further develop the DC Stock Transfer Program for all goods transferred from the DC,
Monitor and improve the Goods Inward System for all warehouse inventories,
Ensure outstanding Order Report is run,
Receiving, Checking and Resolving goods issues,
Assist Quality Control, Supply Chain and Accounts Department on any Inventory related enquiry,
Maintain the inventory register,
Conduct regular cycle count,
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
3+ years in a general administration role OR 2 years' experience in Inventory,
Intermediate user proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel,
Sound numerical skills,
Grade 12 or equivalent,
Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment,
A general Understanding of Inventory Control,
R 12,000 per month
