Job description The position holds responsible for the activities of multiple stores and achievement of quantitative measures of performance within stores Oversee the recruiting, hiring and training needs of the stores, and efficient execution to enhance the overall performance of the stores Orientation of new employees to Wear South African Store Operations Reporting and monitoring of performance statistics and HR metrics Optimising and overseeing operations to ensure efficiency and profitability Achieve quantitative measures of performance in the following areas: Sales vs target, units per transaction, average Rand Sales Prioritise, establish and communicate store issues and daily/weekly/monthly sales goals to the store managers Ensure scheduled staff meetings are conducted on a regular basis Models customer service behaviour and monitor associates levels of service. Guarantees that customer service evaluation score is high Adhere and enforce company policies and procedures, loss prevention, audit guidelines in all the assigned stores. Also, create measures to ensure compliance by all staff Oversee the execution and implementation of merchandising as specified by company directives to ensure maximum profitability. Train and develop staff on sales techniques, customer service, teamwork, and other etiquettes as per the company requirements Develop management staff to assume leadership roles within the organisation Ensure the visual presentation of the stores is as per the company standards Evaluate the performance of the staff and promote open lines of communication through coaching and motivation Oversee the new hire orientation program. Requirements Two years of valid experience in fashion retail as a Big box Retail or Area Management Grade 12, preferably with a Graduate qualification in commerce stream Energetic and result-oriented leader with an entrepreneurial spirit.
